I have an important announcement to make. I doubt there are any of you left who even follow this comic, as I almost completely forgot about it until just now, but just in case any of you have even a sliver of hope left for this series, I'm here to, sadly and reluctantly, put you at ease.
This series is not happen.
I'm sorry. I really am. I really did want to do this series, I had planned out so much of it in my head, written so much of it down, imagined the fight scenes and story over and over again, but to no avail.
I just don't want to anymore.
I simply have no motivation to do so; it's not that I don't care about my (admittedly small amount of) fans, I just have lost the will to go on with this series. I am glad to say I concluded part 1 the way I wanted to, but that's going to be the end of it, unfortunately. I hope those of you still paying attention have the patience and goodness in your hearts to forgive me, and hopefully none of you are that disappointed.
I do, on the other hand, have good news.
Two new Smackjeeves comics are beginning VERY soon. I recently had a new spark of inspiration for a Pokemon comic called "Pokemon ORAS", which will be split into two titles: "Pokemon ORAS: Blaze" and "Pokemon ORAS: Torrent", which are going to by handdrawn and detail the adventures of Brendan and May as they travel through Hoenn. The story will be based on the original story by GameFreak. "Blaze" will focus on the point of view of Brendan, whereas "Torrent" will follow the story of May.
First issues of those comics coming soon, so STAY TUNED.
